Experience and Approach:
Providing coaching in the areas of role preparation, dialogue coaching, dialect acquisition, on-set coaching and ADR coaching.
Kathleen’s approach is based on the various modalities of the performance process. She specializes in the areas of body-breath awareness, developing the speaking voice, speaking with clarity, dialect acquisition, research and text analysis, and the actor’s imagination. She combines these skills to support the needs of the project and recognizes the authenticity of each actor in their process of role creation in any genre whether it be historical, auto-biographical, action-adventure, comedy or drama.
She holds an M.F.A. in performance with two certifications in the areas of voice and movement training as well as speech and dialect training.
